Meet Our Dentist

Dr. Tim Warise, a native of Middle Tennessee, upon graduating from dental school in 1989, practiced as an associate in a busy dental practice in Collierville Tennessee. In 1991 he returned to the mid-state and established Warise Family Dentistry in Smyrna.

Dr. Warise is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal oral health as well as total health and well being. He is committed to applying the most advanced technology to help solve patients’s dental needs, a commitment that is exemplified, in his pursuit of continuing education, in all areas of dentistry through-out his career.

Dr. Warise’s implant surgical training includes the Misch International Implant Institute, the Pikos Institute and the Perio Institute. His interest in orthodontics lead him to design a more effective technique than currently available, the “Pivot Arm Appliance” to orthodontically upright severely tipped mandibular second molars. He co-wrote “the Pivot Arm Appliance-Controlled, Rapid Uprighting of Molars: A surprisingly Simple Solution ” which describes the appliance and its application and was published in the International Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Warise is a certified provider for Invisalign, a clear alternative to metal braces, Lumineers, as well as is a certified provider for LANAP (laser assisted new attachment procedure) a gum disease therapy .

He takes the time to talk to his patients explaining what he is doing throughout the procedure always welcoming questions.
